Well constructed, slightly oily wrapper. A mild to medium smoke, starts out peppery, transitions to oak, leather and slightly sweetness. A good 30-40 minute smoke, perfect for the commute to the office.

What a magnificent cigar! The flavor was very mild from the first light to the last draw. My expectations for this stick was not only met but took it uncounted steps higher!! I've been enjoying this blend immensely. Was CA cigar of the year 2012 in Toro, very well deserved. Great sticks at an exceptional value from SCC. I've now tried six of the seven Vitolas available. All but the last and largest the Toro Grande in 6x60 which I now have on order. Like a bar of chocolate only smokey. This one, Toro Gordos, is a long lasting stick (nearlty 2hrs) with plenty of strength and flavour

Fantastic service as usual from SCC, cigars arrived in great condition. Im a big Partagas fan, this particular stick started a little bitter though, perhaps green, but improved and finished well. Good draw and construction. One star off for the start. Got one left that I'm going to leave for a year or two and revisit.
