Hermosos 4 Añejados Overview
The Hermosos 4 Añejados is the third release from Habanos SA’s Añejados collection. The concept was to create a line of cigars that are aged from 5-8 years after rolling.
Produced in 2015, the Hermosos 4 Añejados is the shortest of the collection with a 5” length and a 48 ring gauge.
Smoking an Hermosos 4 Añejados
The Hermosos 4 Añejados has all the mellowness you expect of aged tobacco with a mild-to-medium body. The cold draw offers wood and the opening is pleasantly sweet. The burn and draw are excellent, with a slight resistance that draws the tobacco’s full flavor.
The first third hits you with hazelnut and walnut notes blended with dark chocolate and a mild floral scent. Spiciness on the retrohale develops into a meaty mesquite base note in the middle third, with earth notes and a hint of maple syrup weaving throughout. The final third finishes strong with oak, leather, and toast laid over the mild sweetness.
