  4. Short and thick can do the trick but when you want a long stick it's hard to go past a Churchill. This ones on the mild side but very enjoyable for an hour and a half plus.

It opens strong and full-bodied, with a distinctly leathery, earthy start that feels very much in the classic Partagás tradition. About midway through, it softens and turns sweeter and more approachable, becoming easier to smoke while still retaining depth. The cigar lasts around 45 minutes, produces generous smoke, and feels substantial despite its relatively concise smoking time. It comes tubed, which is convenient for travel; the tube doesn’t replace proper humidification, but it does offer short-term protection if you’re moving between humidor and pocket. Construction is generally good, though it can become a little flaky toward the final third, which slightly detracts from an otherwise enjoyable finish. Overall, it’s a bold, satisfying cigar best suited to moments when you want something assertive that settles into a smoother, sweeter rhythm rather than an all-day smoke.
