Smoking a Cohiba Robustos
The entire smoke is complex and ephemeral, an interplay between sliced nuts, oaky musk, and sweet natural vanilla. Traces of honey, with a side of earthy straw, come through in the draw as well.
The first third of the smoking experience also picks up a mixture of grass and hard to define, biting spice. It moves into a sweeter middle third before settling down with overtones of cocoa.
Keep smoking. This cigar lasts and stands out beyond the classic Cohiba Robustos. It looks good as well. This cigar’s appearance is quite superb. Gently tanned and smoothly wrapped, it is a look that impresses, even among true connoisseurs.

Cohiba Robustos Supremos Overview
Robustos are one of the most iconic Cuban cigars on the market. The classic measures 4ā inches and has a 50-ring gauge. Cohiba Robustos Supremos are a little longer and a whole lot fatter, at 58-ring gauge.
It smokes longer and richer, beyond a Robustos medium- to full-bodied taste. Made with Colorado Claro wrapper, this is a limited edition you don’t light up on any random day. It’s a cigar you want to keep in your humidor, to be smoked when you demand more.

A flagship for Cohiba First time trying this wonderful cigar. A box from 2014, the biggest ring gage in Cuban cigars, a great aroma, and this is before even firing it up. As an aged cigar it was smooth with no harshness at all, yet when you start the second third the intensity of flavours and smoke takes you back to the glory days of Cuban cigars making. UK Customers Need to be Careful; Customs Delays The service from the company and the quality of the cigars was excellent, as usual but I had to wait 6 weeks for the cigars, held up in UK customs with Ā£73 to pay in duty and VAT. With the Brexit changes the delays and customs duty will likely go up further. Even so the price is considerably less than purchase from a UK provider. I think my shipment was dried out sitting in a customs office. Cohiba gold!! This cigar is fantastic. As you would expect, loads of coffee flavor. Slightly sweet. Not much in the way of earthy or woody tones.
