Smoking a Romeo y Julieta Petit Corona
This cigar presses firmly between your fingertips and is wrapped in a slightly oily, brown wrapper. Pre-lighting, it smells of sweet cinnamon and bread with hay and leather apparent in the cold draw.
The first third opens up with a mushroomy, musky taste, flavored with a creamy sweetness and a light nuttiness. Moving on to the second third, it retains its sweetness but allows some leather and hay flavors to seep through the smoke.
The stogie is a little over medium strength and body. It’s strongest in the final third and crescendos with dark coffee, cherry, and chocolate.

It’s recommended that you age this cigar for at least five years, so that it can reach its full potential. As such it’s more ideal for collectors and serious cigar enthusiasts. Aging it in the right conditions will help the tobacco mature, resulting in deeper, more rounded flavors.

I've had them before. These are a fantastic smoke. The Dominican version is already a good smoke. However, these are a great step above. Powerful, yet a light smoke. Mr. Purchasing Cuban cigars from outside of the US it use to be a challenge. I am glad that swiss cuban cigars has a solid payment and shipping process. Romeo y Julieta Petit Coronas has been my favorite cigar since 1995. It is my after dinner cigar of an incredible enjoyment matching my taste for strength, flavors, texture and size. For best experience a 5 years aging it what I will like. The boxes I receive from swiss cuban cigars are relatively new, with minimum required age. However of a good quality from any perspective.
