Smoking a Trinidad Vigia
The Colorado Claro wrapper of the Trinidad Vigia has invisible seams and very few veins, with a slight spring to the touch. The wrapper smells of hay and pepper and has the renowned pigtail cap of the Trinidad brand.
The stick fires up quickly with a medium body and lots of smoke. The tastes are bready and sweet with a dash of white pepper rounding it off. An umami meatiness is introduced, balancing well with the coffee and strengthening pepper.
The retrohale is worth mentioning at this point, as it’s rare to find a stick that’s improved by the flavor of its retrohale, but this one is an exception.
Through the middle third, the cigar grows in flavor until it reaches a medium level – an outstanding flavor that leaves a slight sizzle on the tongue.

Trinidad VigiaThis is a nice looking cigar, beautifully constructed with a smooth oily wrapper and a sexy pigtail cap. Draw and smoke output 10/10. Taste very Cuban, earth, mineral, nuts and a little touch of pepper throughout. Smooth and creamy retrohale. Simply AmazingTo say this is a nice cigar is like saying the Beatles were a nice band. This is an absolutely amazing cigar. I’ve been smoking Cigars for 20+ years, Cubans and non-Cubans and this is the best cigar I’ve ever smoked. The taste is remarkably balanced with a slight taste of coffee.
