- I decided to try the Juan López Selección No. 2 for two reasons. First, it's a cigar I've never smoked before, and the reviews seem to be quite divided, which made me even more curious. Second, it's available in wooden cabinets, which I personally prefer for aging in my humidor. Thanks to Swiss Cuban Cigars, my order arrived safely and is now resting in the humidor. I plan to give them a little time to settle and age before lighting up the first one, probably in a month or so. I can't wait to try them and will be sure to come back and share my experience. Cheers! ????????

Montecristo Master Open Tubos View Product - One of the three Monit No. 2's was slightly damaged as per the photo. No need to replace, but just letting you know. Next time I think I will order in the vacuum pack again as they seem to travel better, or perhaps the box in a vac pack would be better still. As the packed was in a soft envelope I don't think the cigar thin paper box is ridged enough to support the cigar - perhaps sending in a small carboard box would preserve the cigar better.

Montecristo No. 2 View Product - H. Upmann has been among my favourite cigar brands for a very long time, with the Añejados line being my absolute favourite these days. Perhaps it is subjective, but I find the Magnum 50 to be an exceptionally plain cigar, especially when compared with other H. Upmann cigars. It starts with some salty notes, followed by a touch of leather that develops later in the smoke. And that is pretty much it. I find very little depth, complexity, or evolution in its flavour profile. Even after spending several months in my humidor, it showed no noticeable improvement. Overall, a disappointing experience. The only reason I am not rating it lower is the excellent construction and perfect draw.

H. Upmann Magnum 50 View Product - There was a lot to enjoy in the flavour of this cigar, particularly the rich woody notes and the gentle spice that developed as it went along. However, it arrived too dry, and the wrapper had cracked, so the condition was disappointing. That affected my enjoyment, even though the tobacco itself still had plenty of character. I would give it another try, as I suspect a better-kept example would offer a much more satisfying experience. Overall, four stars, with the missing star coming down to the dryness and wrapper damage.

Montecristo Double Edmundo View Product - This was a thoroughly enjoyable cigar with a smooth, rounded flavour. I liked the gentle sweetness and the way the woody notes became more noticeable as the smoke developed. It had enough depth to keep me interested, but remained comfortable and easy to enjoy throughout.

Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchills Tubos View Product - I enjoyed the rich flavour of this cigar, and there was plenty of depth to keep me interested throughout the smoke. Unfortunately, the one I received was too dry, and the wrapper had cracked, which took away from the overall experience. It was disappointing to see it in that condition, particularly as the flavour itself was very enjoyable. Even with the wrapper issue, I could appreciate the character of the cigar and would be interested in trying another in better condition. Four stars from me, mainly because of the dryness and cracked wrapper.

Montecristo 1935 Leyenda View Product - A really pleasant cigar with a delicate flavour that still had enough character to feel satisfying. I enjoyed the subtle sweetness and the gentle woody notes, especially how naturally they worked together. It was easygoing throughout, making it a lovely choice when I wanted something a little lighter. The flavour stayed interesting without becoming too strong or heavy towards the finish

H. Upmann Magnum 50 View Product - A very enjoyable cigar with a rounded flavour and a pleasant, steady development. The woody notes and gentle sweetness complemented each other well, with just enough spice to add a little interest. Nothing felt out of balance, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the smoke. It held my attention all the way through without becoming tiring towards the end. I would be happy to keep a few of these on hand.

Juan Lopez Selection No.2 View Product - A lovely cigar with a good balance of flavour, strength and overall smoking comfort. I particularly enjoyed the woody notes and the gentle spice that became a little more noticeable as the smoke progressed. The flavour had plenty of character, but it remained rounded and never became harsh. It was the sort of cigar that made me slow down and enjoy the experience. A very solid choice, and one I would gladly return to.
