Smoking a Ramon Allones Gigantes
With few veins on the wrapper’s surface, this cigar is a gorgeous Colorado brown with a slight oily sheen. The pre-draw evokes aromas of verdant farms and rolling hillsides, with notes of nutty hay.
Producing a velvety, generous smoke, the first third combines toast and leather and leaves a spicy tang on the lips. The middle third is evocative of classic Ramon Allones cigars, with coffee, leather, nuts, and mocha.
There’s a hint of licorice towards the end of the stick, but overall it is creamy and complex with a medium-bodied profile.

Started by two brothers, Ramon and Antonio, the Ramon Allones brand of cigars has had a century and a half to perfect its products, and the Gigantes are prime, sturdy examples of the Allones craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Ramon Allones Gigantes Overview
The Gigantes have a medium strength with tremendous floral, nutty, and earthy flavors. Available in a cab of 25, at almost 8” long and with a ring gauge of 49, these are generously flavored but mild to medium in strength.
Perfect for novices just starting to smoke robustos or for a luxurious smoke on the golf course, Ramon Allones Gigantes take two or even three hours to enjoy thoroughly.

Ramon Allones Got my cigars in perfect shape. I’m sure it would have been perfectly okay to smoke them upon arrival but I am in the habit of giving them a couple of weeks in my humidor before smoking. Had my first Ramon Allones last night. At first I thought it was going to be a very mild cigar ( similar to a Montecristo white label) but the more I smoked the better it got. I smoked it down to lip burning size then hated to see it go. Very pleased. Perfect draw burned evenly. Great cigar!Got my cigars in perfect shape.
