Bolivar Belicosos Finos - Building Blocks of Perfection
No cigar is perfect and beauty is very much in the eye of the beholder. But you have to question the taste of those who fail to find something to appreciate in the Belicosos Finos. Rolled by hand, the figurado design is extremely difficult to master. With a ring gauge of 52 and a length of 5 and ½ inches, it packs an amazing amount of flavor from the first draw to the last.
Bound and filled with premium Cuban tobacco, it is a quintessential representation of the craftsmanship associated with the entire Cuban cigar industry. If you are not quite ready for a full bodied smoke, then you will do well to avoid the entire Bolivar line. Consider Hoyo de Monterrey instead, a brand that will ease you into fine Cuban cigars.

Nice cigar--when you are able to relax and smoke it!. Somewhat disappointing construction. I had to use a perfect awl to open the head of every cigar I smoked. Sometimes it only took a brief insertion but other I had to use the awl on both ends. Fortunately I never had to throw a cigar away, but still the wrapping of the cigar leaves a lot to be desired. Tjhey are just wrapped too tilght. Having said the above, once i could smoke the cigar it was very satisfying.Somewhat disappointing construction. Finally I received the cigars after 21 days. As previous reviewers have noted, about 10% of the cigars have dried and cracked…they don’t travel well for three weeks! That said, I opened them and put all but one in my humidor to give them a good moisturising. Sampled one of the dried out ones. Clearly they were in great shape when packed as the cigar smoked well. I can only suggest that a faster transition time should be found to reduce the damage risk. I will buy again from Swisscubancigars and have recommended the service to cigar fancying friends.I received the cigars after 21 days.
