  2. The cigar itself was very “Partagas” but not as strong in body or nicotine content as say for instance the Series D No. 4. It is less peppery than most Partagas but still has that distinctive peppery zest combined with a perfect salty-sweet balanced tobacco flavour

  3. The Bolívar Belicosos Finos is a bold, complex cigar for experienced palates. It delivers rich Cuban terroir with evolving depth - earth, spice, leather, and dark cocoa are the stars throughout. While enjoyable young, this cigar truly shines with age, where its sharper edges mellow and flavors deepen.

  4. You can immediately tell this will be a good cigar. Things can change, but the starting flavors are a deep caramel sweetness. A rich nuttiness backs it up and cream begins to unfold on the draw. The cigar is ultra smooth. The aroma is sweet and borderline intoxicating… D no.4 you’ve charmed me.

  5. The Magnum 46 is an excellent cigar — a perfect choice for a morning or mid-day smoke. It’s also a great option for beginners looking to start their cigar journey with a quality experience. The cigar offers a mild profile, with superb construction and an even burn throughout. The flavor is creamy with subtle woody notes, leaving a pleasant aftertaste. The only minor drawback is that it’s slightly tightly rolled, though it doesn’t significantly affect the draw. Overall, an excellent cigar!

  6. A spicy and earthy Robusto rich and deeply complex. Possibly the best robusto for an after dinner smoke with a good cool easy draw and characteristic dark wrappers, the Ramon Specially is a firm favorite. "A leathery, woody smoke with hints of rock salt and earth. Floral notes develop, as do hints of cocoa powder and spicy ginger before the earthy finish. The draw and burn are both even..."

  7. The Liga Undercrown Maduro Gran Toro offers a bold, rich smoking experience. Deep notes of coffee, dark chocolate, and a hint of black pepper shine through, with a smooth draw and satisfying finish. It was one of the cigars I turned to often in the past, but nowadays it feels a bit strong for my regular rotation. Still an excellent choice when you want something with character.

  8. The Oliva Serie V Melanio Maduro Double Toro delivers a deep, bold flavor profile — notes of dark chocolate, espresso, and cocoa mingle with a touch of espresso crema. The draw is excellent and the burn stays even. It was once one of my favorite cigars, but over time it’s become a little too intense for my daily smoke. Still, for those looking for richness and strength, it’s an outstanding choice.

  9. The Gurkha Ghost Shadow delivers a well-balanced, medium-bodied experience. Notes of nougat, almond, and exotic spices like cinnamon and nutmeg come through beautifully. The draw is smooth, and the finish offers a satisfying peppery contrast. It was one of the first cigars I used to smoke regularly, but after a few years, it has become a bit too mild for my current taste. Still, it’s a great cigar for those who enjoy smooth, easygoing smokes.

  10. Smooth, balanced and creamy smoke with the signature Montecristo flavor. Excellent draw and construction, perfect for an evening cigar. Definitely one of the best Double Edmundos I’ve had. Highly recommended.

  13. H. Upmann has been one of my favorite cigar brands for over 25 years, and I still greatly miss the discontinued Monarch from their line. Is it worth paying extra for the Añejados? Absolutely! Construction is outstanding, with an even burn, smooth draw, and a perfectly balanced, creamy flavor. In the final two thirds, the woody and nutty notes become more pronounced, yet the taste never gets harsh. An absolutely fantastic cigar!
