Smoking a Ramon Allones Specially Selected
The pre-draw is redolent of sweet hay and cedar. The first third is surprisingly lively, with a medium body strength right off the bat and pepper in the nose and tongue.
The second third opens briskly, strengthening the complex flavors with deeper notes of leather and earth, which builds to tangs of sophisticated marzipan and mouth-watering black cherry.
The final third finishes strong, remaining peppery and spicy until the end.

The Specially Selected from Ramon Allones is a Robusto that’s almost 5” long with a ring gauge of 50, so it’s quite stout. It comes in a cab of 25, is wrapped in a gorgeous milk-chocolatey brown wrapper with few veins, a slightly oily sheen, and a little springy give when you squeeze it.

My every day favorite Ramon Allones Specially Selected or better known as RASS among those cigar aficionados who recognize this is one of the top Robustos that come out of Cuba. I smoke this cigar more than any other cigar and it never lets me down. Medium to full strength, always an even burning smoke with a fantastic yet simple profile. Customer service top notch I have only smoked one so far, I have decided to let them sit in my humidor for awhile as they seem a little hard. The one I smoked was pretty good but I think it will get better after some aging. The 5 stars is for your customer service/follow up, excellent staying in touch after the ordering process! mr my usual rule is to let new smokes sit for a while and for good reason.
