Smoking a Juan Lopez Seleccion No 2
At 124 mm / 4.9 inches length and with a ring gauge of 50, the No 2 has a Corojo wrapper with minimal veins on the wrapper. It is spongy along its whole length with an expertly applied cap.
The cold draw reveals musky cedar flavors that leave a tang of salt on the lips. The first draws produce abundant white smoke and a long nutty retrohale, and the initial third features hot peppers that change into more mellow flavors of moss and grass.
The second third features a sweeter profile with pineapple elements breaking through, which rolls out to the final third, predominated with earth and nuts flavors.

One of the top 3 Robustos ever First I want to thank Swiss Cuban for that amazing box of Juan Lopez and their great services and prices. This particular one was stamped with 2017 production so it is already well aged. Just removed the cigars and let rest for a month in the humidor, you will taste one of the hidden jewels of Cuban cigars. This cigar is bold, full bodied with flavors that remind you of how a Cuban cigar should taste. Along with the Allones and Bolivar Robustos none of the other Cuban cigars come near those great cigars. A must have for every Aficionado and I will definitely order again.
