Smoking an El Rey del Mundo Choix Supreme
Cigar connoisseurs enjoy this mid-intensity cigar early in the day, as an easy and entertaining smoke, or as an alternative to a dessert or coffee. Made from oily, dark wrappers, these hand-rolled vitolas have quickly become a favorite for many.
The first draws of the Choix Supreme produce an abundance of white smoke and stout, chocolatey flavors that remain consistent throughout. Full white ash only drops after 1.5”, and although the burn is a touch uneven at times, it’s nothing an attentive smoker can't avoid.
Earth, spice and leather make for a delightful combination throughout the 45 - 60 minute smoking time.

El Rey del Mundo Choix Supreme Overview
El Rey del Mundo means “King of the World” in Spanish. The Choix Supreme is its flagship cigar, a 5” Corona Extra with a 48 ring gauge, an impressive but relatively rare cigar shape.
They are hand-rolled with tobacco from the Vuelta Abajo region. The result is a light cigar with mid-range intensity and a floral, sweet flavor. And it looks the part as well, heavy and majestic between your fingers.

An open secret! I purchsed an El Rey del Mundo Choix Supreme in Mexico. It was well worth the $25.00 price. This cigar is complex, interesting and totally enjoyable. The name is not as well known as other Cuban cigars but I'm sure once other smokers try it, they too will come back for more. Swiss Cuban Cigars sent me a fresh box in great condition at a price less than half what I paid before. Never disappoints This is one of my favorite cigars, Cuban or not. It is even good with just water. Its mild sweet flavor with a cup of coffee was great, so was a pairing with anejo Tequila.
