Smoking a Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robustos
The Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robustos offer a well-formed draw that allows for an effortlessly satisfying journey. Prelight flavors include tropical berry, nutmeg, earth, and pepper. Once lit, the cigar unveils rich leather, cinnamon, herbal, and spice flavors.
Woody and earthy notes build towards a rich finish touched with black pepper, cream, and baker's chocolate flavors. With the shorter format, it is recommended to smoke more slowly to not build up excessive heat and cause bitterness on the tongue and palate.

Tasty little stick. Only 4 stars due to a slightly stubborn light and burn, but a very minor issue. Flavor profile is similar in spicy sweetness to my preferred Monte Cristos, but has a bit thicker, darker notes. Maybe molasses vs. honey. Great smoke when you don't have a long time or attention to give.Only 4 stars due to a slightly stubborn light and burn, but a very minor issue.
